Depending on the type of surgery, the recovery times will vary. Some foot and ankle surgeries will require an overnight stay in the hospital. In the days following surgery, patients should expect some degree of:

  • Blood or fluid leakage from the surgical foot/ankle incisions
  • Low-grade fevers
